Angels Rest

Angels Rest is a supported housing project managed by Blackpool & the Fylde Street Angels, providing a safe and stable environment for vulnerable adults who may otherwise be homeless.

Since its launch in January 2024, Angels Rest has offered more than just a roof. It’s a place to pause, rebuild, and move forward with support. The building is owned by Green Pastures, a Christian social enterprise, and managed day to day by our dedicated BFSA team.

In Partnership with Green Pastures

Green Pastures is the sole owner of the Angels Rest property. Their mission to end homelessness aligns perfectly with ours, and their investment in the building provides a long-term foundation from which we can deliver meaningful, person-centred support.

This partnership allows BFSA to focus on what we do best: supporting individuals in crisis to recover, rebuild, and take steps towards independent living, while Green Pastures ensures the building is of a high standard and fit for purpose.

What Angels Rest Provides

A Safe, Secure Place to Live
Residents are offered private rooms in a furnished, shared property. It’s a peaceful and respectful environment, providing sanctuary and stability to adults at risk of or experiencing homelessness.
Ongoing, Individual Support
Our experienced team works closely with each resident to build trust and provide tailored support. This may include life-skills coaching, access to external services, support with budgeting, job readiness, mental health, and more.
Referral-Only Access
Angels Rest operates on a referral basis through local authority pathways and trusted support agencies. This ensures placements are well matched and supported from the start.

Since opening in early 2024, Angels Rest has:

Housed individuals with nowhere safe or stable to stay
Helped residents work toward long-term housing, training and employment
Built a positive community environment where individuals feel respected, valued, and supported

We continue to monitor outcomes, adapt to needs, and work collaboratively with other agencies to ensure the best possible care and pathways forward.
